After suffering through a year of death and unfortunate circumstances, the artists in Palehound channeled their emotions into their second album, A Place I’ll Always Go. With a steady baseline and a non-intrusive lead vocalist, everything seems to blend together in to some kind of dulled version of rock. Each song stays generally the same tempo and volume, making this a great album to listen to while studying or doing other work. These songs will sound familiar in a “well-worn and comforting” kind of way, something that everyone could use during a year of death and unfortunate circumstances (or just on a regular day).
